San Ramon Military Banner Application

Thank you for participating in the San Ramon Military Banner Program. Please complete the application below.

After completing the application, please submit the following required documents to ALpost246SanRamonBanners@gmail.com:

  1. Verification of military status (DD214 or Active duty Verification)

    To verify military status, please visit the Department of War website(https://www.war.gov or (https://www.archives.gov)

  2. Proof of residency for applicants (such as PG&E bill, EBMUD bill, phone bill, etc.)

  3. ONLY for non-resident honorees without any immediate family in San Ramon, a concise narrative detailing the honoree’s demonstrated long-term, positive impact on the San Ramon community. (Limit one page PDF or Word Document).

  4. Photo of only the honoree in uniform in.jpg or .png format and must be high resolution (150-300 dpi @ 100%) 5” x 7” in size. Photos must be sent electronically. Hard copy photos cannot be accepted. Email only.

  5. Banners are 30” x 94” double sided. Cost is $225.00. Payment by check only, payable to American Legion Mt. Diablo Post 246 within 10 days of notice of approval. Please write “Banners” on memo line.
