2026 Oratorical Contest Achievement - Anadita U.

Congratulations to Our Outstanding Youth Orator, Anadita U. from Monte Vista High School!

American Legion Post 246 is incredibly proud to announce the spectacular achievement of Anadita in this year’s American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program.

Demonstrating academic excellence, deep patriotic insight, and powerful public speaking skills, Anadita advanced through multiple rigorous levels of competition, earning top honors along the way:

1st Place – CA Post 246 Local Competition

1st Place – CA District 9 Competition

2nd Place – CA Area 2 Competition

The American Legion Oratorical Contest requires students to deliver a prepared oration on some aspect of the Constitution of the United States, as well as an impromptu speech on a randomly selected constitutional article or amendment. Competing at the Area level places Anadita among the very best young speakers in the region.

Please join us in celebrating Anadita for outstanding leadership, dedication, and for representing our Post and District with such high distinction. We wish her continued success in all future academic and civic endeavors!

We look forward to next school year for the 2026-2027 Oratorical Contest Season. Notify Post 246 not later than December 31, 2026 if you intend to participate in the Post 246 contest which will be held in early January, 2027.
